Bert Buijsrogge
I worked in real estate for 15 years. Over the last few years, I've turned my passion for watches and photography into a career. My interest in watches dates back to my teenage years and kicked into full gear in my early 20s after buying a vintage Rolex Submariner. Following this watch, I joined several watch forums, becoming active in the watch community and creating watch calendars three years in a row. In 2010, I joined Fratello Watches, and I've been running a photography business with a strong (but not exclusive) focus on watches since 2012.
What I find interesting about watches is how unnecessary they are, as time is around us everywhere. At the same time, it’s an amazing piece of traditional craftsmanship. Even though I like a lot of different styles, my collection mainly consists of watches that are generally considered as iconic. You could say it comes down to a combination of great designs with staying power, high quality, and good prices.
